KRL Employees Cooperative Housing Society was established in June 1984 under the Patronage of Dr. A. Q. Khan NI bar. After certain formalities the society was registered in Islamabad and purchasing of land began in Rawat on Kallar Syedan Road. Until 1992 more than 1000 kanal of land was purchased.
